How we may assist
- Factual routing only: we use the information only to identify the broad category and appropriate regulated route; we do not assess legal merits or eligibility.
- Signposting or referral: we may direct you to the IAA Adviser Finder or, with your consent, refer you to a suitable authorised provider where a referral route is available.
- Separate acceptance: the authorised provider independently decides whether it can accept your matter and completes its own checks and client-care process.
- Advice and fees come from that provider: substantive immigration advice, application preparation, representations or appeal work are then supplied under that provider’s separate retainer.
Immigration enquiries: referral-only fee position
Phrasing Legal does not charge for initial immigration routing, general signposting or an authorised-provider referral. Phrasing Legal does not provide substantive immigration advice, application preparation, representations or appeal work. If you choose to instruct the authorised provider, that provider will confirm its own scope, regulatory protections and charges directly.
Official information is available from the SRA immigration work guidance, the Immigration Advice Authority and the IAA Adviser Finder.
| FLR / human-rights routing / authorised-provider referral | No charge |
| Case-specific FLR, private-life or human-rights work | Quoted separately by the authorised provider |
Scope and regulatory limits
Human-rights, private-life and overstaying issues require careful case-specific legal assessment. Phrasing Legal does not advise whether FLR(M), FLR(FP), Article 8 or another route is appropriate, viable or preferable.
Whether an activity is reserved or separately regulated depends on the substance of the work, not merely the name used for the service. We therefore assess the requested task before accepting instructions.
