Before you pay

1. Check that the payment reference and amount match the written fee confirmation.
2. Payment relates only to the agreed professional fee. This facility must not be used for client money, settlement funds, disbursements or third-party costs.
3. Payment alone does not create or expand a retainer. Phrasing Legal will confirm the accepted scope separately in writing.
4. You remain responsible for court, tribunal and other deadlines unless responsibility has been expressly accepted in writing.
